Shohei Ohtani

Shohei Ohtani is the most collected active player in baseball — a genuine two-way star who pitches and hits at an elite level, a multiple-time MVP, and, since 2024, the centerpiece of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Born in 1994, he built his reputation in Japan’s NPB with the Nippon-Ham Fighters before arriving in MLB in 2018 with the Los Angeles Angels, first as a hitter, then also as a starting pitcher — the two-way role that makes him historically rare and drives sustained demand for his cards.
